This is the belief in leveraging business successes for the betterment of humanity and respect for nature. It uses business principles and achievements as well as earmarking a part of business resources to promote human development and to care for the environment. Jagdish Mithu Chanrai has been the brand ambassador for Caring Capitalism® since 1989 and believes that it is a philosophy that anyone can practice. He executes this philosophy primarily through voluntary organisations in India and Nigeria to expand his philanthropic reach, focusing chiefly on eye care and health.

The Chanrai Summit Group has various businesses in trading, manufacturing and asset management with presence in Nigeria, Ghana, Dubai, India, and Singapore. Jagdish Mithu Chanrai and his two younger brothers are co-owners of the Group. JM Chanrai is a passionate entrepreneur and has supported the Group’s business through roles in business strategy, financial controls and compliance matters. His financial acumen has been an asset to the Group. His brother Sunder has grown the business in Spain successfully with a strong talent for administration and team leadership and his youngest brother, Subodh, heads the West African businesses with a marked gift in building relationships and securing business deals.
